Accommodations & Rooms

Westfield House Farm offers four en-suite shepherd's huts, each with individual designs and a private wood-fired hot tub. The Curlew, Leveret, Demoiselle, and Eyebright huts include a private bathroom, fireplace, and outdoor furniture. Guests receive a welcome hamper with locally sourced jams, bread, milk, and cereals, plus robes and slippers for the hot tub.

Dining & Breakfast

A continental breakfast featuring fresh local ingredients is provided, with an optional breakfast hamper offering bacon, sausages, eggs, and other local produce. The dining room provides views of the Simonside Hills. Outdoor dining is available using BBQ facilities and a campfire in scenic settings.

Outdoor & Leisure Facilities

Each hut has a wood-fired hot tub that takes approximately 3 hours to heat and retains heat for several hours. The property has a large field with only four huts spaced for privacy, plus an outdoor fireplace and picnic area. A comprehensive sky guide is provided for stargazing, and guests can purchase additional briquettes for the hot tub via an honesty box.

Location & Nearby Attractions

The farm is located a short drive from Rothbury and within walking distance of Thropton. Northumberland National Park, Cragside House and Gardens, and Simonside Hills are all accessible from the property. Newcastle International Airport is 46 km away, and the nearby village of Thropton has a Spar shop and a pub.
