Location & History

The Bell Inn is a 200-year-old coaching inn located 15 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. A plaque on the front door states that J.R.R. Tolkien visited the inn, providing inspiration for the 'Prancing Pony' in his writings. The inn sits in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, a short walk from the train station with direct service to London Paddington.

Dining & Entertainment

Guests can order from a menu of home-cooked meals and a large selection of local beers. The kitchen focuses on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, with daily specials offering a changing dining experience. Regular live music events take place in the pub, and the courtyard and walled garden provide outdoor seating for guests.
