Swallows Rest is an AA 4 Gold rated farmhouse set on 35 acres along the Jurassic Coast. Guest rooms offer sea views and access to beautifully maintained gardens with outdoor seating. The property also has a shared lounge/TV area and offers complimentary homemade cakes refreshed daily in each room.

A Full English/Irish breakfast is served with locally-sourced ingredients, including eggs from the hotel's own hens and freshly baked bread. Homemade muesli and fresh fruit are also offered each morning. The hotel has received the AA Bed & Breakfast Award and the Dorset Tourism Award for its hospitality and breakfast quality.

Farm Animals & Gardens

The 35-acre grounds are home to alpacas, pigs, donkeys, goats, chickens, and geese, and guests can interact with them during daily tours. The gardens include bird feeders that attract small birds at breakfast time. A picnic blanket in the garden at night reveals clear views of the stars, as noted by previous guests.
